Privacy Policy — Hiragana Katakana Table

Last updated: June 14, 2026

1. Who we are

Hiragana Katakana Table is developed and published by Saradao Developers, an independent mobile app studio based in Japan. For privacy-related questions, please contact us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

Hiragana Katakana Table is a simple hiragana and katakana reference app. It does not require account creation, does not collect personal information directly, and does not store any user data on our servers.

Data stored locally on your device (never sent to us):

  • App preferences and settings

Data we do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers
  • Location data
  • Camera, microphone, or contacts
  • Usage analytics or crash reports sent to our servers

3. Third-party SDKs and advertising

The free, ad-supported version of the app integrates third-party advertising SDKs that may collect certain data automatically. This may include:

  • Device identifiers — such as the Android Advertising ID (AAID), used for ad targeting and frequency capping
  • IP address — used to estimate general location for serving region-appropriate ads
  • Device information — such as device model, OS version, screen size, and language settings
  • Ad interaction data — such as impressions and clicks, used for ad measurement

This data is collected and processed by the ad network. We do not access or store it ourselves.

Advertising SDK in use: Google AdMob — see Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle this data.

4. In-app purchase (no-ads version)

The app offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements. Purchase transactions are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, access, or store any payment information. See Google Play's Privacy Policy for details.

5. Data retention

We do not retain any user data on our own systems. Any data collected by third-party SDKs is governed by their respective retention policies. All locally stored data is removed when you uninstall the app.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, or opt-out of personalized advertising.

To opt out of interest-based advertising on Android: go to Settings → Privacy → Ads and enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization."

You may also visit Your Online Choices or NAI opt-out.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR. If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA.

7. Children's privacy

The app is a general-purpose educational reference tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to address it.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also note them in the app update release notes.
